Kranenburg Painting has checked out the biggest names in the industry and here are what they have to say about the paint color trends this year.
Simply White

One of the leading names in the industry, Benjamin Moore, has chosen Simply White as the color of the year. It is a predictable choice given its color selection in the past few years. From sky blue in 2014 to light green in 2015 – simply white is definitely a logical choice for the company.
As for us here at Kranenburg Painting, we agree with Benjamin Moore. White can be a big hit in several house interiors this year. White tends to expand spaces as it can amplify the light in a room. The neutral and barely-there look of white paint easily complements with other paint palettes giving homeowners ease in decorating.
Lilac Gray

Another palette that came in as a surprise is the lilac gray. It has slowly gained popularity by the last quarter of 2015. We think lilac gray is a smart choice this year because it gives a not-so-neutral neutral finish and complements seasonal hues aiding easy transition.
Kranenburg Painting suggests matching lilac gray with warmer tones like peach and burnt orange. These palettes pair brilliantly.
Golden Yellow

Last but not least in our 2016 color trend list is golden yellow. Inspired from the summer sun-kissed wheat fields, golden yellow will surely be a huge trend this year.
We suggest using this color in living spaces and dining areas where home traffic is high, as golden yellow paint is known to give a space a lively feel.
Kranenburg Painting would pair this color with neutral earth tones like greens and soft browns.
That’s a wrap for our 2016 Color Trends. Do you have a favorite out of all of these colors?
